Officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command have arrested a 23-year-old man in north London on suspicion of breaching notification requirements under the Counter Terrorism Act 2008.

He was arrested on Sunday 1 December and detained under PACE and remains in custody at a south London police station.

This arrest is not linked in any way to the London Bridge terror attack and enquiries into this matter were underway prior to the incident on 29 November.
