A Chinook from RAF Odiham makes an emergency after hitting power lines

A chinook from RAF Odiham has been forced to land near Wales following an incident. Luckily, no one was injured. The structure of the helicopter was damaged


A Royal Air Force Chinook helicopter made an emergency landing in Carmarthenshire.

It’s understood that the large transport helicopter is suspected to have struck a power line before coming down on farmland around 10 miles north west of Pembrey.


The crew of the helicopter are believed to still be at the scene maintaining the security of the aircraft.
