Police are currently on scene after a man was found with serious injuries in Southchurch Road, Southend.
Officers were called just after 2am, today Thursday 1 October, by the ambulance service with reports a man in his 30s had been stabbed.
He had been taken to hospital.
If anyone has CCTV of the area or dashcam footage they are asked to call us on 101 quoting incident 67 of 1 October, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
The road will be closed between Lovelace Gardens and Surbiton Road into the morning and drivers are asked to please avoid the area where possible.
