Four men have been charged and remanded in connection with county lines drugs supply following a search warrant at a caravan site in Romney Marsh.
The suspects were arrested by officers from the County Line and Gang Team, who have been investigating a suspected line running out of London and into east Kent. Simultaneous warrants were executed on Thursday 8 October 2020, at addresses which included a caravan site off Hythe Road, Romney Marsh and a property in London. Seven people were arrested and a number of phones linked to the alleged distribution of heroin and crack cocaine were seized. Quantities of Class A drugs and cash were also recovered.
The following people have now been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs:
Daniel Lewington, aged 29, of Dorothy Evans Close, Bexleyheath; William Bridge, aged 23, of Charlton Park Lane, Charlton, London; Anardo Iremiren, aged 24, of Dorothy Evans Close, Bexleyheath; and Kaseem Ibrahim.aged 31, of no fixed address.
Mr Lewington is also charged with possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
The suspects appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 10 October, where they were remanded in custody. They will next appear at Woolwich Crown Court on 9 November. The other suspects, three women aged in their 20s and 30s, were released pending further investigation
