Serious crash in Gosport 

Fire crews this lunchtime are battling to free, a trapped driver following the collision in Gosport.

Fire crews from Gosport, are using specialist cutting equipment, to remove the roof of the white ford fiesta  in an attempt to free the trapped person. The incident happened near to the junction of Ann’s Hill road in Gosport, just after 12pm today.

Police have closed to the road while emergency services work in foul weather.

It is believed from witnesses at the scene, a lorry has been in collision with a car.


Traffic is reported to be at a stand still in the area with Police operating a single lane operation for cars trying to pass. Police have  advised motorists to avoid the Forton Road area whilst the emergency service deal with the  incident..
