A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a serious incident in Lincoln city centre.
A group of people had been monitored by the CCTV team at City of Lincoln Council at 11.03pm on May 9.
An assault then allegedly took place, which left a man his 50s with a head injury and unconscious.
Police rushed in to City Square, where the incident took place.
Officers were on hand to give care to the man.
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of ABH in connection with the incident.
He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The alleged victim was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.
Newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner Marc Jones praised the role of CCTV in the incident.
