A Man is in hospital after being hit by Bus in Hilsea this afternoon (10th May).

The incident happened at just after 2pm on the busy Hilsea Roundabout.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after the man collided with a single decker bus serving the Paulsgrove area.

The Hazardous Area Response Team from South Central Ambulance Service and two land ambulances also attended the scene.

A Hampshire Police spokesman said the cyclist had suffered minor injuries in the collision, and had been taken to QA Hospital in Cosham for further treatment.

Heavy traffic built up in the area while Hampshire Police directed traffic in one lane of the road while the emergency services attended to the man.

All ambulances and police vehicles left both scenes at about 3pm.
