Police this evening have confirmed that they have launched an investigation following a complaint that man was carrying out act of gross indecency in Gosport on Monday afternoon.

The flasher who exposed himself to the two young 12 years old on the cycle track on Station Road near to a Brune Park school is being hunted by police.

The girls were walking down the cycle path in Station Road, in Gosport yesterday at around 4.30pm when the man was in the bushes exposing himself.

A woman who was out using walking along the track had to comfort two distressed 12 year old who has just been approached by a man and had tried to pull them into the bushes to watch .

He is described as being aged around 20 to 25 years old, foreign ethnicity and wearing a sports sweatband on his head.

A Spokesman for Hampshire Police said: “The incident happened near to the school and we know parents will be concerned. We are speaking to the school to offer suitable advice and will have extra officers in the area this afternoon and into the early evening.”
