A set of 15 travellers whose attempt to take up residents in D-Day museum car park has failed.
The group who carried out their invasion under the cover of the darkness to take over the car park, have been given their marching orders by council officials and police.

Council officials from Portsmouth City Council have served notice to vacate premisses paperwork on the travellers early this morning.

Upset staff who work at the D-Day museum said “It is one of our busiest weekends of the years where hundred of visitors come to visit the museum
as tourists are expected in the city’.

It is believed that the travellers have been given until lunchtime to remove their caravans from the parking area.
