Two vehicles are trapped in flood water after flash flooding hitting Southampton this afternoon. Emergency services are attending the incident on the A27 near Chilworth.

The A27 towards Romsey has been closed as it not passable and is likely to be closed for a number of hour. Armed response officer who answered the call to free the motorists had to push the vehicles out of the water that is said to be knee deep.
