It is not thought that the driver has been seriously injured. It is believed that black Nissan lost control after hitting surface water and aquaplane after a down pour of rain hit the area. The vehicle skidded off the main carriageway hitting a crash barrier on the hard shoulder.

The vehicle than span and ended up facing the wrong way towards traffic. Specialists from Boarhunt Garage are at the scene being assisted by officers from Hampshire Road Policing Police to recover the vehicle.
It is thought that the lane closures will remain until 7.45pm.
