100 firefighters tackle flat fire in portsmouth

Twelve fire appliances from across Hampshire were called to a flat fire on the 13th floor that blew out windows in the early hours of the morning

Crews rushed to the scene just after 4am this morning to tackle the blaze in the 17 floor building in Quinton Close in Somerstown. Two people have been taken to hospital, one of whom is a firefighter. Two other fire fighters  have also been treated at the scene.
