Police have bailed four people who were arrested in connection with an incident in Sedgley Close, Southsea, where a man was stabbed.

A 34-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, both from Southsea, have been released on bail until Tuesday, December 20, pending further enquiries.

A second 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, also from Southsea, have been released on bail until Wednesday, December 21.

The arrests were in relation to an incident where a 28-year-old man from Portsmouth was assaulted at about 8.30pm on Thursday, October 27.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
