Police remain at a block of flats after a fire broken out in the early hours of this morning, Officers are trying to establish how a fire started in an indoor storage area at a shared property on Forton Road in Gosport in the early hours of this morning (November 11).

Eleven people, including three children, were inside at the time and were checked over by Paramedics at the scene. No-one was seriously hurt.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire, Fire and Police arson investigators have been at the property for most of the day. Police have said they are not linking this to any other incidents at the current time.
