Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died following a collision on the A33 at Kings Worthy yesterday evening.

A 21-year-old man from Cheriton and a white Ford Kuga were involved in the collision at 5.28pm.

The man was taken to Southampton General Hospital but sadly died from his injuries this morning.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.

The driver, a 45-year-old man from Chandler’s Ford, was uninjured.
