Police are investigating an assault, that happened on the junction of Frensham Road and Heyshott Road, Southsea, at around 4.15am on Sunday (November 27)

A 20-year-old man was found lying on the ground, suffering from a head injury. He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and has since been discharged.

A 27-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of GBH. He has been bailed until Jan 19, 2017.
