Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after they arrested four men in connection with a series of linked incidents in the Park Barn area of Guildford earlier today (10 December).

In the first incident, Police received reports of two men arguing outside a house in Southway, Guildford at around 09:50. When officers arrived they discovered one of the men had left the scene, and two of the windows in the house had been smashed.

Two hours later, at around 11:50, a member of the public called to report a man carrying a large bladed weapon in Southway. Officers attended and arrested three men at the scene. A fourth man was arrested shortly afterwards, and the weapon was recovered a short distance away.

We are confident that the two incidents are connected, and we do not believe anyone else was involved. We are keen, however, to speak to anyone who may have seen anything, or have any information about the two incidents.

Anyone with information is asked to call Surrey Police, on 101, quoting 45160109397. Alternatively, you can anonymously contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The arrested men are aged between 17 and 27. They were all arrested in the Park Barn area of Guildford.
