Bungling ram-raider escape empty handed after break in Portsmouth

Offenders attempted forced their way into a Boots in the city last night but left empty-handed.
Hampshire Police are currently appealing for information after would-be thieves broke into business premises in Portsmouth overnight.

The criminals forced entry to the store by smashing a plate glass window and attempted to gain entry via the metal shutter and a door, but escaped empty handed.
Police are reminding businesses to remain vigilant and take time to review security measures at business premises ensuring CCTV and alarm systems are in good working order and switched on. Businesses should report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.
