Police have today, Monday 13 March, arrested a 30-year-old woman, a 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old man on suspicion of the murder of Shkelzen Dauti aka ‘Genny.’
Genny was found in the road on Gilpin Close having suffered a stab wound to his chest in the early hours of Saturday 11 March. He was later pronounced dead at Southampton General Hospital.

Detective Chief Inspector Ellie Hurd from Hampshire Constabulary’s Major Crime Team said: We continue to appeal to those who knew Genny to get in contact with us so that we can better understand Genny’s life here in Southampton.
“We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw or spoke with Genny during Friday into the early hours of Saturday. We urge anyone with information that could assist us with this investigation to call 101 quoting Operation Siskin or 44170091405.
“We have increased our patrols in the area this week to ensure residents feel reassured and safe. In this time, we will continue to make house to house enquiries and hope our visibility in the community will give residents the opportunity to approach us with any concerns they may have.”
