A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident outside a Bournemouth shop.

At around 11.43pm on Sunday 30 October 2016 it was reported that an argument broke out between two men and a member of staff outside ANJ Off Licence in St Michael’s Road.

It is alleged one man produced a knife and threatened a member of staff. The victim is said to have wrestled the knife off the man and it fell on the ground.

The knife was then picked up by the second man who stabbed the victim in the back.

The victim – aged in his late teens and of Poole – sustained a stab wound to his back. He made a full recovery.

On Friday 23 December 2016, 24-year-old Sadiq Gure of Frensham Drive in New Addington, London, was jailed for six years for wounding with intent and possessing a knife in a public place.
