Murder Investigation Launched after Man’s Body Found in Winchester

An Investigation has started after the body of man us found in Winchester property. Emergency services where called just after 5.30 on Wednesday evening.
Here is what we know so far

Police were called at 5.31pm on Wednesday 22 March to a report that a man’s body had been found at an address in Birch Court, off Thurmond Crescent, Winchester.

Officers attended and confirmed the man, believed to be local and aged 37, was dead.

Police are saying at this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained. A full investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of what took place.

A cordon has been set up around the property and residents will notice an increased police presence in the area.

This is being treated as an isolated incident with no connection to the terrorism attack in London.
A shocked neighbour who asked not be named described seeing alot of police turning up last night my wife came back in after seeing alot of Police outside. Normally the area is very quiet, everyone keeps themselves to themselves.
