Fire Rips through Six hectares of Woodland on Yateley Common

Surrounding roads have been closed as firefighters battle a fire, which has destroyed around six hectares of woodland in Yateley this afternoon. Crews from Yateley,Rushmoor and Hartley Wintney have spent most of the afternoon at the fire that has rapidly spread

Nearly six hectares of woodland and heath has been destroyed. Water and access has been a big issue in tackling the blaze.
