Angry Facebook Users Target Wrong Woman after Home Man arson Attack in Portsmouth

police appeal after homeless man bedding set on fire in portsmouth

Angry Portsmouth residents have taken to Facebook to vent their anger after a homeless man was attacked in the city centre at the weekend.
Unfortunately, they have targeted the wrong woman, who has the misfortune to share the same name as one of the women charged over the incident.
“My friend Nicola King unfortunately shares the same name and town as the vile girl who committed the attack on the homeless man in Portsmouth,” a follower told us.
“She’s had loads of hate messages come through from people thinking it’s her – she wants to let people know to stop sending abuse to the wrong person! Thank you!”
Nicola King, 22, of Mill Road, Waterlooville, who goes by the name Nicola James on Facebook, and Jerely Evans, 25, of Lockerley Road, Havant, who goes by the name of Gerii Lea Radford on Facebook, have both been charged with arson and criminal damage after a homeless man was attacked in Commercial Road.
The pair are due before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 25th April.
