Police Close A303 Eastbound following Serious Collision

The A303 Upper Bullington on the Eastbound carriageway has been closed by Police just after the A34 junction following a collision involving a Two Lorries.

Drivers are reporting long delays in the area some are reporting up to an hour being added to their journeys travelling from Andover. Emergency services are on the scene and are currently dealing with the incident to aid recovery of the Bulk Tanker that is fully loaded and to recovery a second lorry from the hedgerow.. The incident happened just before the entrance to Norton Village. A number of other large goods vehicle have been trapped in the closure Police have said:Thankfully no injuries but it’s caused the A303 to be closed eastbound from Bullington Cross. We are working hard to get the road open

UPDATED 1150 . Police and highways England have now removed the two Large Good Vehicles and the closure has been removed
