Jaffa Cakes manufacturer McVitie’s have today outraged the entire nation with the new changes set to be made to Britain’s favourite.
“Shrinkflation” has struck the confectionary aisle once more, with McVitie’s reducing the number of Jaffa Cakes in each standard box from 12 to 10 (taking each pack from 146.6g to 122g).
A McVitie’s spokesman said, “We have taken the decision to adjust the pack size of our McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes products.
“There is no change in the size, shape or weight of individual cakes in the McVitie’s Jaffa Cake range.
