A woman has been rushed to hospital by ambulance following a collision with a bus on the busy A30 London Road near Bagshot. Police have closed the major road to aid recovery and a clear up operation.
The woman is understood to have a suspected broken leg and damaged ribs. Acid from the Bus batteries has spilt on to the road surface. Due to the bus having no power the recovery contractors are have to manual removed the buses brakes to recovery it.
Police have said that A30 London Road in both directions closed, queuing traffic due to accident, bus, car and ambulance involved at B3029 High Street.
“Police directing traffic near to Miller & Carter. Police are on scene dealing with the accident.
A Second Collision on New Road in Bagshot has also taken Place involving three vehicles. Two people have been taken
to Frimley Park Hospital Police have also closed New Road. Drivers are currently unable to access the M3 from Widdlesham. A local Diversion has been put in place.
Police are also currently carrying out an investigation following the collision
South East Coast Ambulance service said: We were called just before half nine to reports of a collision on the A30 at Bagshot.
“It was reported to be a collision of a car and lorry. While attending that incident, there was another collision in front of the ambulance, which did not involve the ambulance, but the three vehicles collided into each other.
“We called for another ambulance to the scene.
“There were two patients in total, one from each collision but and they were taken to Frimley Park hospital and neither are in a life threatening condition.”
