Police have closed the Kingston Hall Road near the junction of College Roundabout in Kingston following a serious collision. The collision involves a single vehicle and a Silver Vauxall Corsa and a female . The female has been flown to hospital by air ambulance that landed on the top floor of the Rose Car park in the town.
The collision happened just after 1pm on Friday afternoon. Vehicles using the Rose Road car park are being made to use the no entry as the one way system near the Police station has been closed off.
The road closure remains in place for officers from Surrey Road Policing to carryout investigation work. It is understood that one person was treated at the scene by paramedics and members of Kingston Fire station. She has since been taken to hospital with life changing injuries.
A spokesmen for the Met Police were called at approximately 12:55hrs on Friday, 3 November to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian on Kingston Hall Road.
Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended. The female pedestrian has been taken to a south London hospital. We await an update on her condition.
The road remains closed to traffic.
