Police release man arrested over Portsmouth Stabbing with no charge

Officers investigating after a 20-year-old man, from Birmingham, suffered a brutal attack in Somerstown shortly before midnight on Saturday, have released the second man arrested over the offence.

The 23-year-old man from London, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has been released from custody but remains under investigation – formerly known as police bail.

A 21-year-old man from London who was arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder on 18th February, was later released with no further action to be taken.
