Fire Crews stationed at Gosport, Fareham, Southsea, Botley and Portchester are dealing with blaze in Lee on the Solent on the High Street. Police have closed the one way system to traffic.
The fire is understood to have broken out at a shop in the town. Fire crews have been committed into the property and an specialist aerial ladder platform has also been brought in to tackle the blaze fire fighters have already been at the blaze a number of hours and are likely to remain their for sometime. They wee called just after 1am on Tuesday morning.

Despite the efforts of crews using hose reels and jets the fire has spread to the area area of the multi storey premise. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘Thankfully, no-one has been injured.
‘Neighbours in the area may wake up with smoke still in the air. Residents are being asked to keep windows closed to avoid smoke inhalation. Firefighters are still working to make the scene safe, but the high street is expected to remain closed for some time.
