Trading Standards teams on the Isle of wight have been made aware of another scam currently doing the rounds on the Island. Residents are recieving calls supposedly from Domestic and General stating that their washing machine cover needs renewing and asking for names, address and bank details. This is a SCAM. Genuine businesses would never ask for this personal information over the phone.
