Fire crews are dealing with a fire in a loft space in Barham near Canterbury. Kent Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the fire just before 5.45pm and two fire engines were sent to the property, where they found smoke coming from the roof area. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to quickly tackle the blaze and have isolated the electrical supply. There are no reports of any casualties.
