Police on the Isle of Wight have raided a property on Palmerston Road in Shanklin we can reveal. Residents in the road said that it was all happening. Four police vehicles turned up just before 7pm on Wednesday evening.

A resident who asked not to named said that he saw police with an door enforcer and they (the officers) went down side alley and into the flats. An other resident said police have around a few times since an attack at the Falcon pub and he understands they are looking for someone. Police remain in the Road.

A Police officer was seen leaving the block of newly refurbished flats with a crowbar. A man has also gone with Police.

One unlucky resident who was returning home had his car sized by officers from the armed roads policing unit after it was found to have no tax. Officers spotted the vehicle after it was left badly parked.
