Two men have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Canterbury.

At around 10pm on Friday 23 March a man in his 50s was getting into a vehicle with another man in Oaten Hill Place when he was assaulted. The victim received a head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 20-year-old man and a 50-year-old man, both from Chartham, were arrested on Thursday 28 June on suspicion of assault. They have been released pending further investigation.
