Hampshire Constabulary are appealing for witnesses following a bus crash in Oakley yesterday afternoon.

Officers were called at midday on Thursday 26 July following the single vehicle collision on the B3400 Andover Road.

At the time 19 people were on the bus including the driver.

A two-year-old boy, a 67-year-old man and a 38-year-old man were the most seriously injured. They have serious injuries but they are not life-threatening.

Of the others on the bus, a further ten suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital. No-one else was hurt.

The road was reopened at 10pm.

Investigations into the collision are ongoing.

Inspector Andy Tester, from the Joint Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the double-decker bus prior to the collision.

“We’d also like to hear from any motorists who may have dash cam footage from the area around that time.”
