A324 Aldershot Road in Pirbright is Closed due to a serious collision. It will be closed for some time due to investigation work. Surrey Police say the collision happened just after 7am on Monday morning and it will remain shut in both directions between Cobbett Hill Road and the Royal Oak pub for some time.
Speaking from the scene officers issued the following appeal:We’re appealing for witnesses after a motorbike rider sustained potentially life threatening injuries in a collision earlier this morning (6 August).
At 6.30am, we were called to a report of a collision between a motorbike and a pick-up on the A324 Aldershot Road in Pirbright, close to the Royal Oak pub.
We’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, involving a white Ducati motorbike and a grey Isuzu D-Max, or the movements of either vehicle before the incident. Anyone with dash camera footage is also encouraged to contact us.
The motorbike rider, a man in his 30s, has been taken to hospital with potentially life threatening injuries. No one else involved received any injuries.
The road is currently closed between Ash Road and Cobbett Hill Road while officers carry out on-scene investigations.
