Detectives investigating the death of a 26-year-old man following a serious assault in Totton continue to question a 19-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
The incident happened at 7.45pm at a home on Salisbury Road on Saturday 25 August.
Specialist officers continue to support the man’s family.
Today, (August 27) detectives continue to question a 19-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
The 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder suffered a medical episode after he was arrested and is being treated in hospital.
Detectives investigating the murder are looking to question him as soon as he is discharged.
A 42-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have since been released from police custody but remain under investigation.
