Emergency services have been called to Fairlee Road on the Isle of Wight in the early hours of this morning to a serious collision.
Officers from Hampshire Constablary were called just before 1am on Thursday and closed the road between Halberry Lane and Medina Way slip road.

Paramedics from the Islands ambulance service have also been called to assist officers at the incident.
One person a motorcycle who has hit the wall has been treated at the scene for serious injuries and taken to St Mary’s hospital in Newport.
