The Thames Valley Air Ambulance has successfully landed at St Mary’s hospital after a call to Shanklin at the request of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.

The red lifesaving helicopter touched down after a short trip from St Blaius Academy.

The flying doctors treated a patient at a property St John’s Road than packagd the ill patient for the short flight to hospital

The call for assistance was made at around 10:00am and the helicopter landed on the helicopter pad at St Mary’s at just after 11.30am.
