the isle of wight wad fathers daughter leeanne in court for stealing whisky from morrisions

The daughter of the Isle of Wight Wad father, Peter Rolfe has escaped with a conditional discharge following the theft of Whisky from Morrisons in Newport on the Isle of Wight.

Leeanne (Rolfe) Tiller and her former partner Jason Blake of Spanners Close, Chale appeared before the Islands magistrates this week.

The pair had stolen whiskey to the value of £76 from the supermarket.

The court heard that Tiller had fallen on hard times as the father of the twins had taken them from her following a relationship break up.

She had also lost the posh pad that the Isle of Wight council had provided for her rent-free.

Leeanne and her father Peter Rolfe who has 26 kids by 15 women hit the headlines after it was revealed that he was being paid £50K a year in benefit handouts and the Isle of Wight council had given him a five-bedroom house.

The court heard on the day in question the pair had both been drinking that day and they accept that the theft was a joint enterprise.

Magistrates sentenced the pair to a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered them to pay back the £76 for the whiskey to Morrisons.

They will each also have to pay £85 court costs and a £20 surcharge.
