Police in Portsmouth appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed twice in an assault in Portsmouth sometime between 10.30pm and 10.50pm, Saturday, April 20.

A 31-year-old Portsmouth man suffered two stab wounds during the incident and is being treated at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham. His injuries aren’t thought to be life-threatening.

The incident happened initially in Tangiers Road near the Co-op but then moved into Lynton Grove. Police are investigating and officers are in the area carrying out enquiries. No one has been arrested at this stage.
