A large fire has ripped through a fuel station at Fontwell on A27.

The hotel and Services area have been evacuated. Three fire appliances have been called to the incident that happened just after 10am. A camper van  caught alight and than the blaze spread to the forecourt of the filling station

Fire crews from Chichester and Bognor, were first to arrive at the fire ball.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said:  They has received multiple calls this morning saying that a camper van was on fire on the forecourt of the petrol garage and had spread.
