A Product recall has been issued for Hotpoint, Indesit and Creda tumble dryers over fears they could catch fire. We can reveal that three more brands have been added to the Fire risk list. The fact is and what is being over looked is these machines are catching fire. Fire crews up and down the country on a daily basis are attended properties fire involving the faulty tumble driers. When are Whirlpool going to take this recall seriously. How many People’s properties are going to have burn or how many lives taken.
The fire fighters that we have spoken does not share this view that they are safe to carry on using. If you have an appliance that has been recalled we advise you to stop using it until it has been inspected and declared safe to use by a manufacturer’s engineer.
1000’s of disgruntled customers who logged there faulty appliances at the end of October have still had no contact from them, viewing the Hotpoint support on Twitter, page after page of complaints of people who logged faulty appliances and have had no contact since… It’s disgraceful that a company are putting 1000’s of people’s lives at risk
Whirlpool has added 58,000 Proline and Swan tumble dryers to the list of fire-risk machines, just three months after it issued a fire warning about some of its Creda, Hotpoint and Indesit tumble dryers. The 58,000 affected models are in addition to the 5.3 million Hotpoint, Indesit and Creda dryers already identified as being at risk.
