Reports of an explosion and smoke near Lancaster Gate Tube station
Emergency services have been called to Lancaster Gate Tube in Paddington after reports of an explosion and a large amount of smoke. [block_2] A number of fire appliance command units and a Hazmat unit have all been sent to the incident at around 2pm on Monday afternoon.

A woman was arrested after it was reported that a pensioner had a large amount of cash stolen while using an ATM in Maidstone
On the 31st of January 2023, the victim went into Lloyds Bank on Week Street and inserted his card into a cashpoint. [block_2] He was interrupted at this point by a man who began speaking to him. The victim, who is in his 70s, later discovered that £500 had been withdrawn without his knowledge.
