Stabbing Shocks Paddington Shoppers
A man was stabbed inside a Marks & Spencer food outlet on North Wharf Road, near Paddington, just after 12.20pm today (February 28).
Quick Response by Police and Ambulance
Officers and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. They found the victim with serious injuries but his condition is not life-threatening. He was swiftly taken to hospital for treatment.
Police Hold Scene, No Arrests Yet
The Metropolitan Police confirmed no arrests have been made. They currently have a cordon in place while investigations continue.
“Police were called at 12:22hrs following reports of a man being stabbed inside a shop on North Wharf Road, W2,” said a force spokesperson. “The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Officers remain in the area and no arrests have been made at this stage.”
Ambulance Service Praises Fast Reaction
The London Ambulance Service said they were alerted at 12:20pm and sent an ambulance crew plus a tactical paramedic. Their first paramedic arrived on scene in under three minutes.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital,” a spokesperson added.
Marks & Spencer has been contacted for comment on the stabbing incident.
