An e-scooter rider was taken to the hospital after colliding with a car in Peckham

  The incident occurred just before 12.20pm Monday at the junction  of Peckham High Street and Mission Place (January 16). Officers and London Ambulance Service crews responded. The e-rider, scooter’s a man, was found injured and taken to the hospital. The driver of the car pulled over to the side of the road. Road closures were implemented, but they have since been lifted. The investigation by the police is still ongoing. At 12.19pm on Monday, 16 January, officers were on patrol when they came across a collision involving a car and an e-scooter at the junction of Peckham High Street and Mission Place,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said. They requested assistance from the London Ambulance Service, and paramedics responded. “The e-scooter rider was taken to the hospital. His condition was determined to be non-life threatening. “The driver of the car pulled over to the side of the road. Around 1.10pm, the road reopened. “Investigations are ongoing to determine how the collision occurred.”
