Two lanes of the Eastbound M27 motorway have been closed this evening by Police and Highways England following a single vehicle collision between junction 11 and junction 12 near Fareham. Debris is across the carriageway and traffic is at a stand still. whilst contractors working on behalf of Highways England remove the remains of a black Peugeot 306 that is understood to have aquaplane and than rolled over a number of times. The driver is being treated at the scene by paramedics and has since been taken away by ambulance. A specialist recovery vehicle from is at the scene righting the vehicle back onto four wheel.

There are long delays on the approach to the incident whilst Police and Highways clear the debris and have the vehicle recovered.
Update 2050: All lanes on the M27 have been reopened following following the single vehicle collision between junctions 11 and 12 travelling eastbound.
