Cyclist Injured in Collision with Lorry in Parliament Square

At approximately 11:30 am today, Wednesday, 4 September, a cyclist was involved in a collision with a lorry in Parliament Square, near the junction with Bridge Street. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, promptly responded to the scene.

The cyclist, a female, was transported to a nearby hospital. While her injuries are not considered life-threatening, there is concern they could be life-changing.

The lorry driver stopped at the scene, and no arrests have been made. Authorities have confirmed that the circumstances of the incident will be fully investigated.
