The standoff began when the man, now in custody, boarded the 109 bus in Brixton and started smoking. After being confronted by the driver and passengers, he revealed a bottle containing what was believed to be a corrosive substance, threatening those onboard and triggering an immediate police response.

In a carefully coordinated operation, TSG officers stormed the bus, safely detaining the suspect. The man was then seen being dressed in an orange Guantanamo Bay-style jumpsuit, strapped to a gurney, and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for medical evaluations. His identity has not been disclosed pending further investigation.
