The family of 16-year-old Toya Jefferies, who tragically died in a road traffic collision southwest of Bushton, Wiltshire, on Thursday evening (29 August), has paid a heartfelt tribute to her. Toya, from Royal Wootton Bassett, was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed on an unnamed rural road between Bushton and Hilmarton.
In an emotional statement, Toya’s family described her as “the most beautiful, amazing daughter” whose life was tragically cut short. “Toya was the most beautiful, amazing daughter. She was tragically taken from us and her family on the 29th of August 2024,” the family shared.
“The only way to describe Toya is a little firecracker who touched everyone’s hearts. She was loved by everyone she met and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends,” they added.
In light of the devastating loss, the family expressed gratitude for the support shown by the community, saying: “With the tragic circumstances, we can see how much Toya was loved and how she has brought our community together.”
The family has requested privacy as they grieve and come to terms with this heartbreaking tragedy.
