Commissioner Angela McLaren of the City of London Police is set to retire from her position on medical grounds, announced the police authority on Wednesday.

Angela McLaren, who joined the City of London Police from Police Scotland in 2020 as Assistant Commissioner for Economic Crime and Cyber Crime, was appointed as Commissioner in July 2021. She will officially retire from policing on June 30.
